Till now the talented actress, Kangna Ranaut has played intense roles on screen. But for the first time she will be seen doing Bollywood’s typical latkas and jhatkas in Anand Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu.

She has done almost ten films till date, but surprisingly didn’t display her dancing skills in any of them. With this film, Kangna is also set to shade off her intense heroine image as she is playing a light role in the film. R Madhavan will be seen opposite her in the film. Shooting for the song will be done in Punjab, while the veteran Saroj Khan will choreograph it.

As source revealed, “It’s on the lines of the proper latka jhatka dances a la Madhuri Dixit-Nene style. And Kangna’s very excited. In fact, she’s being working really hard to get her steps right. They will be leaving for Punjab very soon.”

However, director Anand Rai confirmed the news and said, “Kangna’s been really looking forward to this dance sequence with Saroj Khan, as it’s for the first time that she’ll be dancing in a very traditional way for a film.”
