Rihanna Topless for GQ Magazine January 2010 Cover
Rihanna’s Rated R era includes a new, edgier look and darker, more intense music. Oh, and boobies. Lots of boobies.
Whether she’s talking about her obsession with them, or showing off her own, Rihanna is feeling very comfortable in her own skin and thinks you should see it a lot more often.
On the January 2010 cover of GQ magazine, the pop princess goes topless, donning nothing but short shorts, a couple pieces of jewelry and an alluring gaze.
For the accompanying cover story interview, which was done just after Rih spoke with Diane Sawyer and before it aired, she opened up about her relationship with her R&B/pop star ex Chris Brown — possibly a bit too much to the chagrin of her “hovering manager” as GQ correspondent Lisa DePaulo would dub her. She says they could possibly be friends again “in ten years,” but “I’m not depending on his friendship.”
Some of the newer things she reveals is how she never got the chance to graduate from high school, and finally takes on the hideous rumor that she has herpes. “It’s not true,” she said. “It’s a f*cking scar. On my lip. That’s there every day of my life.” She calls the rumors “ignorant,” but she still reads about it all because “I learn a lot from reading it. A lot.”
